Four different flavours

In our 5 years old preschool classes, we like to learn by experimenting.

In English class we learned four different tastes: SOUR, BITTER, SALTY AND SWEET.

Every student got to taste a different type of food and had to tell us what is tasted like. Then, we grouped the foods by taste and each roup named their foods.

Light green and dark green

With the three year olds in our Preschool classes, we have been working on the color green. We have learned the difference between light green and dark green.

We painted different objects with different tones of green, such as a frog, leaf and tree. We then played a game in which we had to find things around us that were the color green. However, our favorite activity with the color green was painting our hands dark green and stamping them onto a light green colored piece of construction paper.

4TH GRADE. FARM FOOD

In fourth grade we are learning about the differnt types of food crops you can find on a farm. After learning and discussing this we planned our own restaurant menu including the items grown on a farm.

My senses

In our preschool classes we have done an activity about the five senses. Each student brought an apple from their home to class. We touched the apple to examine it, smelled it, listened to the sound it made as we bit into it and then tasted it.
